New England Kit - So Dire - No Sales?

I got 2000 natural visits yesterday to my footy site just from people searching for the New England Away Kit, and had no sales.

I had a range of Kitbag and UKSoccerShop on there with links to them on Awin, AF and Webgains - and haven't had any sales or pre-orders.

Are the pre-orders going to batched, or did no one buy because its such a dire kit?

Remember "new england patriots" the superbowl runners-up may have affected your results. try negative matching patriots, NFL etc.

there was lots of coverage and the US goes made for it; so any americans in the UK would have probably search "new england ... " something. possibly?

Hi Greavsie - nah they were all natural and looking at the referer urls they were all related to the away kit and had the dates in to.

From what i have learned from doing this for a while, people don't tend to pre-order these things so much. I'm not suprised by your stats to be honest. A lot is just kids after seeing what it looks like anyway.

I saw something on GMTV this morning and they were saying people aren't buying it as we are out of Euro 2008 there will be no games to wear it to, if we qualify for the World Cup 2010 they'll release a new kit for that and as these kits are so expensive it's a bit of a waste of money. I quite liked it though.

Do these merchants pay commission on orders taken or order dispatched?

I find football kits sales disappointing normally online. Sometimes the Supermarkets like tesco and Asda sell them really cheap and beat the online stores. Also JJB might be selling cheap in store?
When I looked at kitbag they had them for sale full price.

Also the kit is shoddy!! I just wanted to see what it looked like yesterday and I did a search yesterday to have a look with no intention to buy. Also with no euro 2008 people won't get chance to wear it out!
