Just had this emailed to me and it certainly makes interesting reading in terms of where the underwear market is heading.

As everyone probably knows Figleaves is the market leader when it comes to underwear in the UK and their success is to what every online underwear retailer aspires to (and lets face it they are the Goliath to everyones David) so this interview with Julia Reynolds their new Chief Excutive makes for some very interesting reading on how they are cutting back on brands and will be concentrating on their best sellers.
From what i've personally noticed (and in some ways we have also followed this pattern) merchants within the online retail sector are having to become much more shrewd and cautious with their buying patterns in terms of more concentration on your best selling brands and not taking so many risks with new brands (saying that we are just about to launch 4 new brands - so I could be talking out of my rear end)

Anyway here is the link to the interview.
