    No.8 stands out the most to me as I think a links/resources page is a terrible idea.

    If you want to do recip links it's best to add it to a new article or post and ask the other person to to the same. Linking to a deep page very specific to the topic is even better. Having a load of recips on a single page looks terrible and is also a lot less effective.

    What about the host being close to the target area?

    So an example would be: having it hosted in london would be better then the moon SEO wise for the keyword web design london.

    If you are ranking a .com/org/net then it would be best to host in the UK if you are targeting the UK.

    If you are ranking a .uk domain then personally I don't think it matters but some say UK host again.

    City/Town won't make any difference.

    I think this is a great checklist for on page Seo. If you actually take the time and do everything on this checklist it will really help you out in the long run. Highly recommend using it.
