    SEOmoz is a good place to start. They have quite a few useful tools. They aren't free though.

    yeah, SEOmoz is a good place to start and if satisfied after the free trial you can pay ....

    I use
    - TweetDeck for managing all microblogging and Facebook profiles
    - Keyword Country to know competitors’ keywords, ads and landing pages and compare them with mine. It sends me alerts when they change their SEO/ PPC strategy.

    Google tools are the best for getting the effective result of your work.We are working on Google for our optimization work.So, these tools can help us better.Its always preferable to use one tool.Using different tools may create confusion.

    For me SEO moz, Google blogs and all Google tools..
    Tools are not accurate, so its better to go for Google tools..
