Not that it really matters anymore but seeing a pagerank update across some of my sites.

Thought i'd share.

From everyone I've talked to and my own experience, link buying is really helping PR now!

some of my sites which used to be PR 0 are now sitting at PR 2-3

Link trading is very common techniques of SEO, but at some level it is not acceptable by Google. Because it is a less organic way of getting backlinks. I have read somewhere that Google may penalize your website if it discovers paid links or someone else report about your paid links on your website.

But by now, Google has no efficient algorithm to dig out paid links.

Yes I think Google will try to de-value obvious paid links... probably starting with paid directories

How many times Google PageRank is Updated ???

Once or twice a year... whenever they feel like it
