    Hi guys,

I have a list of 20 .edu links which are auto approve and are perfect for anyone's link building campaign as they are high PR and Google loves authority pages. I will submit your URL(s) to each one for a total cost of £20.

All you need to do is PM me your URL and keywords you wish to use an anchor text, and I'll do the rest. The links will be pinged and you should see results in 1-7 days.

    Cheers,
    S10

Let's discuss the real value of these links, so that we can be clear on what you are offering. I think it may be best to break this down into a number of questions and clarifications.

    So, let's begin.

Clarification 1 - you say that Google loves authority pages, I searched Google but could not find any proof of this or in fact what an authority page is. Perhaps some clarification / evidence is called for and I should not take your word on this?

Question 1 - what is the high PR of the 20 pages (NOT the domain PR)?

More clarifications and questions to follow.

Really? If you have to ask about .edu backlinks then I assume you have many three-way links and link exchange (circa 2001) links...? You don't need to search very hard to type in, "Wikipedia", really.

Link juice follows through inner pages. If the domain if PR4 and the inner page is PR0 then it carries more weight than and domain PR1 and inner page PR1. I've seen sites with a PR0 domain page and PR4 inner page. Guess which one I'd choose to comment on...

Even still, .edu links are more powerful (FACT) than a .com or .co.uk even with PR n/a - why? because they are from the education sector, not some idiotic blog that a 14 year old has smashed together in their basement.

How is it that some websites rank with 10 backlinks from good neighbourhood sites while others with millions of backlinks don't? The answer, is Google's algorythm weighs up the authority of a site. If you have a backlink from a Harvard website, it will out-rank one from a toe nail clipping picture website with a .biz domain. Just because you can't find the answer from Google doesn't mean it's not there.

I look forward to more questions. Please fire away I look forward to it. I'm here to help, not hinder and I hope the above doesn't come across as aggressive, it's not meant to, I'm merely answering with gutso - I know how the written word can be misinterpreted.

Anyhoo, all spaces are taken now from different forums. It's not fair to spam the sites as I have my 10 sites on there and don't want to lose link juice.

    Service not available.

Next question - which link would people prefer to their .co.uk domain - a link from a PR5 inner page on a co.uk domain or a link from a n/a page on a .edu domain?

    Question open to all!

The guy's an idiot - no point arguing with him.

Again, I'd choose the .edu page for the reasons I mentioned earlier.

Why? Is there any need to call me an idiot? If you reply with a sensible answer then maybe I can see if you have a point or that you have 1,000+ posts of name callings.

Enlighten me why you think .edu backlinks are 'idiotic'.

He never said the links were idiotic. he said you were if you think that what you are claiming about these links is true. They are not worth the price you are asking and your views on PR are warped. .edu links are good if the site is good but if they are PR0 or n/a then they are nowhere near as good as higher PR .co.uk.

It is 'idiotic' to suggest otherwise.

You'll notice I did ask why he was calling me an idiot a little further up that same post.

They aren't worth the price to you but the £400 in my PayPal from yesterday says different.

Obviously, you have different link building techniques to me. My results speak for themselves - your sites speak for themselves, too.. As said previously, if you don't understand or can't find the answer, it doesn't mean you're correct.

I'll say again: .edu sites are MORE powerful than a 14 year old's blog rant about emos, even if it is PR4 now. PR isn't such a factor, it's the 'neighbourhood' the links come from. There's no doubt porn sites that have been around for a few years and gained PR4 - but they are a bad neighbourhood site.

I have a site that targets Australians, it's a .com, PR0 and has no Australian links at all, but ranks #1 for 8 of the 18 keywords I'm aiming at and I only started it in March.

Let's look at your hayfever site hayfeverdirect.co.uk - SEMRush's main report for domain you're ranking for search terms that 5 people search for a month....wow. Backlinks from this site and a few of other worthless sites in terms of ranking. Honestly, before you and the other guy spout off a load of gibberish, make sure you know what you're talking about. I might just make a site to outrank you sites, but to be honest, you're at #11 and #16 so it wouldn't exactly be worth the five minutes it would take me.

Anyway, I'm not selling any more as the spots were filled within a matter of hours to people who understand far more than you guys. I've already asked for this thread to be deleted as there's no maturity being shown and unfortunately it's rubbed off on me and pushed me to write this post.

LOL hardly a fair reflection of the sites rankings... Anyway. This thread is abit silly now. You really don't realise who you are talking to or about if you think that these are people who don't know what they are talking about. Not even sure why I am dignifying you with a response.
