What about a well spun article? Take your time and you can have loads of articles where people cant tell the difference![]()
So,recently I noticed another site ranking above mine which wasn't really expected.
I checked their backlinks and it looks like they've started to post The same article to a few websites and linked back to their site at the end.
I've never done this to improve my rankings, so just wondering does anyone have any tips ?
I have an article that I was about to put onto my site but maybe I should keep this to use to get more backlinks ?
I'm just confused, do I use the same article on a lot of sites (how many ? Don't want be spamming) or do I need a unique article each time ? (don't have the time for all that).
Think that's it,thanks.

In an ideal world you'd publish one article to one article directory, but few have little time to do this. I normally submit an article to 3 or 4 directories at a time and get good results from that.
Articles can be bought for as little as $5, so no need to waste your own time writing them, or as mentioned above, don't discount spinning articles.

Thanks for the replies
I actually get the majority of my articles for $5 and they are really good
I heard that you should use ezinearticles first when submitting, then do the rest.
I guess I'll have to spend some time spinning my articles and try make it readable :P Is 50% unique content ok when spinning ?
Also, what other sites would use use after ezinearticles ?
Thanks
Just submitted my first article to ezinearticlesTook a while since my keyword density was too high - which I didn't mean,it was actually needed for the article.
Now do I really have to wait until the article is approved or should I just continue using other sites ?
I tried using spinning software but it was terrible so ended up spinning it myself.
Spinned the article myself again and posted it to around 6/7 sites.
Hopefully I'll get bumped up on google soon.
Will try do the same tomorrow with a new article![]()
You may get some short term bump, one or two places, but as soon as G works out this is duplicate content from low quality sites, you'll end up being lower in the SERPS than you were when you started. Just my view.
I honestly do not believe that at all.
If that was the case I'd just use the same article on 500 sites and use a competitors site as the anchor text :/
Plus my site has been near the top of google for nearly a year now, don't think G will drop me much if they do.
Ive also done some social bookmarking and some blog comments today so I'm not just using articles to boost me up.
Article marketing for newbies is not as hard as you might think. If you are a newbie the only important thing you should is where and how to start your article marketing campaign. In this article, you will discover why using only top 10 article directories is quite enough and more effective to increase sales.
Whilst they may be getting away with this now (even if it has been respun) you need to think ahead and ask yourself what the search engines might penalise against in the future.
If what you do or plan to do feels remotely imoral than chances are it will come back to bite you in the long term. Best rule is one article per site

There is no doubt that if done correctly Article marketing improves serps positions, it should also be used to increase traffic by virtue of its content, which if done well is an excellent way of highlighting the relevant benefits of using a particular product or service.

Don't want to derail the thread but after ezine articles, what other decent article submission sites are there/did you use?
In my experience automated article spinning results are usually pretty poor. Scripts using markov chain processes can create unique content certainly, but it usually ends up as gibberish and to any manual check it looks like auto-gen content which is not what you want.
If folks must spin stuff it's probably wisest to pay someone to manually re-write an article several times because in my opinion software doesn't cut the mustard and simple attempts at synonym replacement on an article won't make it pass for unique content.
