Try sending a re-consideration request to the search engine of Google using your webmaster would be back in the search results of the search engine...

I often see these threads and it makes me wonder. I never really saw any of my sites reducing in traffic despite the fact that about 20% of my site republishes some news articles.

have you tried to clear your cookies and cache and search again? Or perhaps from a different network IP?

I'm not sure if a reconsideration request really works. Have you done some aggressive link building the past and stopped? Which could give Google enough reason to consider it as automated/spam?

If your site mainly dropped in rankings, "reconsideration" would not work - it's only for sites that lose rankings completely and are wiped out of google search results. I would instead try to renew your marketing campaign by either putting in more work in article writing, blog updating, and video results. Or you could try an "info: " search on your competitors and find out exactly where your marketing efforts are lagging compared to your competition. Best of luck regaining market share!
