Link-builder(s) required!
Hi,
Ok, let me quickly introduce myself and give a quick background. I'm Ryan and for the last 3 years or so my company has been concentrating on PPC, contextual ads and US cpa offers. I'd say my/our skills like in PPC and conversion optimisation.
We're now moving into the UK markets and I'd like to concentrate quite a bit on SEO.
We have a comparison site for a UK niche (it's quite a typical niche) and I'd like to start getting some decent links in for it to rank organically.
The site is pretty well-optimised, but almost linkless!
For the common keywords for this niche I think we need around 250-500+ quality links to get where we want to be (well, as a start..).
I've contacted contentnow.co.uk for link-building and, at 3000 submissions/month @ £875 with a 1.5% link conversion rate, you're looking at around £20 per actual link. This seems steep to me, especially with the number of links needed, as it's not a huuuge niche from a financial point of view.
So, is this still the way forward or are there other link-builders that we can use?
Please don't hesitate to get in touch, and I'd love to hear from other people's experiences with seo/linkbuilding etc..

Hi Ryan
I think the "pricing per link" calculation, while very practical and measurable, cannot be taken into account until you have a well-defined link standard. As you must know, one high quality exchanged link can deliver more SEO value than 1,000 low-quality spammy links.
Since you require a large volume of links for SEO value, it is important that the link builder understands the relevance of your target site/s and proper white-hat link building methods, and therefore I do not recommend buying these huge "link packages", which can easily be filled out using automated submission software or other automated methods that might harm the integrity of your incoming links.
Even if the link building company is very trustworthy and accountable, they will still be dedicated to filling out the order and not necessarily dedicated to YOU.
And now for my solution:
I am a client manager at V-india, a technological outsourcing services company (vindiaservices.com), which is managed in Israel and based in India with over 60 employees dedicated to our clients.
We have defined a work profile which is basically dedicated to link building and "web buzzing". Rather than pricing links and productivity directly, we work in a manpower method where you receive a qualified and dedicated web buzzer, who works full time (200 hours a month in total) from our offices in Jabalpur, India under your direct management.
The price for a full time "buzzer" starts from $800 per month.
We have accumulated a lot of SEO knowledge and have written well-defined work flows for various link building methods such as:
Content distribution, video distribution, 3-way link exchanges, article syndication, forum participation, forum moderation, blog commentaries, link directories, social networking and more.
The employees receive regular professional support from a professional supervisor in India and from client managers such as myself here in Israel.
We aim to reduce management time of clients to around 1 hour a day, mainly for defining goals and reviewing daily productivity.
So basically we offer a full time employee within our facilities, where we take care of recruitment, HR management, training and placement, so you can focus solely on the work, while receiving full liability, service and customer support.
You can contact me at jonathan@vindia.co.il and I'll be glad to send you some materials and further explain our work methods and liabilities.
Cheers!
- Jonathan
