Meta Keywords ?

I always wondered this, if you have a site like mine, that has many different pages, is it best to tune the meta keywords for that particular page or best to have 1 standard set of keywords for the whole site?

As Google ignores the keyword tag, I don't think either option will make a heck of a lot of different. Granted, there are (supposedly) other engines out there...

FWIW, I have a few 'core' phrases which go on every page, then add one or two words which are relevant to that page.

Yes, I do this too! I know Google ignores the keywords, but
it doesn't take too much effort to add a couple of different
keywords for each page. (And I have my fingers crossed that
AltaVista is going to make a comeback - I really don't like
relying on Google as much as I do!)
