  Question on google

Hi people. I'm new to this affiliate thing and i'm just beginning to understand the basics of getting a good position on google. The thing is my website seems to jump from being in the twenties one day (which is bad enough!) to four hundred the next. The keywords i use are 'free bets'. Is this normal? or should it keep a roughly static position? To keep my website fresh i simply upload my index page via a web- based ftp server. Is this ok to do or will this dramatically affect my google rating?
Any help or thoughts would be appreciated. The bottom line is I want to stop checking my position on google-dance every 2 hours!

this bouncing about is called the everflux, your site position will stablise after the next google dance which is not due until the last week in the month (and may even slip into January).

Your meta tags seem very like ones we have seen before?

Where did you get them?

I guess the site you copied them from if very concerned?

The meta tags seem pretty bog standard.

Ever flux is doing my head in one of my new sites has been in everflux for 3 months now! some pages go then come back then go. Just hope it settles down soon
