I had the pleasure to meet Ralph (aka fantomaster) at Search Engine Strategies in April, and he invited me to speak at an internet marketing conference he was organising for Amsterdam in September, but due to the lack of a major underwriting sponsor the event got postponed (possibly to March 2003). What made me chuckle was he asked if I was "the Jim Banks of Web Diversity"
What he doesn't know about cloaking isn't worth knowing and if you only subscribed to one newsletter on SEO then it would have to be fantomasters. He always has the insider stuff that others know but never tell, but Ralph is quite free in divulging the information and some of his "toys" are just awesome in their capability.
A search engine spider database that is never more than 6 hours old would be mighty useful if you were trying to cloak a site and didn't want to get a caught.
Interestingly enough, although based in Europe he has completely changed his working hours to suit the American and Canadian customers he has so office hours now start at 3PM and finish at 5AM.
