How can you ensure a deep crawl with Google / Fast?

Ive recently added quite a number of pages to a couple of my sites.

How can we ensure that the friendly bots deep crawls the site and eats up all of the pages.

Ive added links to the 'new' pages on a couple of listed pages on Google, but is this all I can do?

link, link and link again.

Get some links from High PR sites and you will get a crawl.

Try for dmoz or yahoo (if its worth it) too - you'll definately get crawled then.

Don't be suprised if its not in the next refresh though. methinks you may have missed this update.

Get a high PR link though and you may get picked up by the freshbot - but your sites will drop in and out until you get the full crawl.

A site map link on your home page, which has url links to every page on your site might help.

Yup, QGJ's suggestion is what I'd go for. All that I would add is get a link to the sitemap from a page you know is crawled regularly by google (check server logs).

yeap that's what I do.. main site is PR 7/10 and the map page is PR 6/10 so it always gets crawled.. however I don't like to link to sites until they are ready so that kind a puts me back about 1/2 months of promotion.. but this is mostly because lots of real people see the page and I don't want to look crap to them.

www.ukinternetsites.com/map.html

I should have added the page is also useful for current customers and it not just a search engine trap.

Aquanuke is right.

If you have ever posted your URL here do a search for it on google and the threads show up.

Maybe time to be a gold member again and get some PR boost from my posts

  Re: Links on Forums

If that is the case isn't there a case for entering this link on any forums, Not spamming, for which we may be members of?
