No Commas in keyword meta tags

I read a brief article that for keyword meta tags it is better NOT to separate them with commas

hence

uk, affiliate, directory, publisher

simply becomes

uk affiliate directory publisher

Yeap I have read this also and about a million other things.. best way to check if your source knows what they are talking about it to type in the keywords they use and se if they are top 20 if not just store the advice under "I might try that see if it works one day"!

In that case, check whether the magazine had achieved the best positioning on the magazine display stand

I don't use commas in the keyword tag. A I couldn't guarantee it with 100% certainty, I don't think it will make much difference.

I too have read this information, and try to follow
this policy. But I've also read that Google pretty much
ignores keyword meta tags, so I do it for completeness
sake more than anything else.

I have to say that if you read a search engine strategy
in a mag. it means it's either 1) now redundant or 2) (even
worse), SE spam, and could get your site banned.

(One mag. I read a week ago even advocated the use
of invisible text to increase your search engine ranking.
That tactic is both 1) AND 2) above.)

The best advice I have learnt, and try to follow, is to
make your site read well to a real-life person - the
search-engines 'should' also like it.
