Google Adwords puts us at competitive disadvantage
I have an AdWords account. Although I am based on this side of the Atlantic, Overture.com (USA) charge me in US dollars and therefore I can be listed for 5 cents, which is about 3 pence in UK Sterling.
However, AdWords is charging me in pence. This means that I am paying nearly double more (5 pence as opposed to 3 pence).
I have various sites which are hosted in the USA and solely aimed at an American audience.
Does anybody know how I could be charged in US dollars?
If payment can only be taken in dollars for those from the US, do you think it is possible for me to give a relative's American postal address and be billed in dollars even though I have a UK credit card?
Re: Google Adwords puts us at competitive disadvantage
Have you tried joining on google.com maybe the payment is accepted in $ through that. Although google are probably one step ahead and read where you are from to dechipher which currency you pay.
