ah but has it taken ages because no ones uses it?

at any rate thanks for that one, will be adding my domain names site to it so I can get top listing for 6p.. worth a try, see what happens after all it's only £25.

This by the way is the reason I am asking what ones people have used / recommend as I am going to stick money in them all and give them a go at seeing if they can make any sales for me. If it works I will let you know and it should help you push your affiliate programs, but I guess it all comes down to price paid + sales made = money earned.

I've used findwhat ( www.findwhat.com ) before.

not that I mean that as a recommendation - just trying to add to your list.

Yes but please, please, please are any of them worth bothering with!?! ePilot was a serious waste of money for me and I've been trying to give money to FindWhat since March - they don't know how to take money from a UK card it seems.....

I wouldn't rush to use findwhat, they managed to get money from my UK card although I think they did end up phoning me to confirm details.

The guy I dealt with that got things moving was

Allen Snook - allens@findwhat.com

if you are keen to try them out contact him and see if he can get them to sort out any credit card issues.

I've only managed to spend about $1 a month with them though!

Still, its almost tooo easy to spend £1000 a day on Goto, and there traffic far exceeds all the other by a long margin.

UKsprite was a Dodo I ended up letting my money deplete using there pop-up window thingy for a penny a pop.

Just had my second attempt on Googles revamped adwords, and wasted a half K.. cant get my head round this one.

  Re: re: list of PPC

There's a comprehensive list of PPC's at:

www.payperclicksearchengines.com/

Personally, I don't use any of these secondary players though.

Other than Overture, Espotting and Google - I'm just not convinced that the other smaller PPC's are worth the time and effort to fund and manage for the limited traffic they provide.

I do a lot of PPC bids and have tested hundreds of programs - most simply do not yield a high enough EPC versus available volume of search terms at a bid worth paying.

I know it sounds obvious but I see so many silly bids on the PPC's. If the bid is over the programs EPC or as a merchant exceeds your visitor value then don't bid on it!

Here's a good example....on espotting an affiliate is bidding 45p on 'rac', linking direct to merchant. Problem is based on my stats from 2,500+ uniques generated in a similar manner this merchant yields just 29p.

Finally, if your doing a lot of PPC work you may want to take a look at my site below. It shows how PPC results are displayed (and often changed) across the syndicated search partners:

www.pay-per-click-search-.../index.htm

LOL "rac" on Espotting... I need to talk with this Affiliate person, he has loads of money to burn from the looks of it

1st place = 45p a click
2nd place = 15p a click

That's an overall waste of 29p a click, oh dear and some people wonder why they never make much money
