A little suprised this morning.......i've been having the MSN bot come round every day for the last few months but only looking at a handful of pages.

Today so far its looked at 1153 pages

Are MS getting closer to launching the full MSN search engine??

Anyone else had a lot of MSN activity?

No, there not taking submissions at the moment. Just spidering existing content...i think.

The results are not being shown on the main MSN searches yet but i am getting a few hits from the Beta engine.....not many though...

Where is MSN getting the content from then? I've just done a search for a URL that I know is indexed in Inktomi....but it's not finding it???

Any ideas?

Just had a look at the MSN beta site and it seems to be exactly the same as the Inktomi results for all the searches I've tried.
