  My latest site

My latest site has been up for about 2 months,, i've optimised the on page factors well and gone about getting a few links. When the site was indexed by google it was coming in around the seventh or eigth page of results for one of my main keywords, which is quite competitive.

However yesterday it shot up to position 26 and today is position 4. Coudl this be the result of some links getting spidered? Or is it fitting with the lifespan of a site often suggested where a site is indexed, moves high up and gets good ranking before dissapearing (sandbox), then reappearing with average rankings?

Or is it simply google being random?

Appreciate any comments, if you can understand what the hell i'm trying to say!

Cheers

dont know if this will be helpful or not...

i don't understand completely why G would be doing this, could be a sandbox thing, it could be where you made minor changes in Title tag or content of your page, apparently now Ggle could rank sites based on how long other sites have been linking to you

although i will say keep doing what you've been doing (quality content, getting links in, etc) and you should be fine
