But anyhow they go on to say how seo's game google, taking full advantage of shortcomings in their algos...pity they don't mention allegra et al...if only it was that easy nowadays. The article is about 12-months behind times.
Jeez if top scientist/mathmaticians can't figure, go figure

LOL, New Scientist used to sell PR9 links off their home page - about as blatant a case of PR manipulation as ever happened. Expensive, but GREAT for kick-starting a new site....
