Smile SEO Help, advice, guidance... newbie

Hello,

I run a site online and am currently looking for some advice to do with content and things I can do myself to improve the site, get more traffic to it etc. Probably looking for an honest evaluation of the site and changes I can make to increase the traffic to the site. Any suggestions?

Cheers

It would really help if you could provide a link to ur URL. For getting traffic to your site, I suggest you explore building quality and targeted backlinks once your site is up and ready. Here are some ways you could build links:

Directory Submissions - targeted links at high PR directories
Blog and Forum Postings - to high PR and frequently crawled sites
Social Bookmarking
Classified Ads
Press Releases
Article Marketing - submit to high PR directories, could also serve as link baits
Link Exchange - with relevant and authority sites
Link Baits - for organic linking
Etc. etc.

Have a read of Beginners Guide to eCommerce eBusiness Search Engine Optimisation - the newbie's guide to SEO. If you can get those basics right and then start to use the SERPs and investigate other sites to compare against your content and way of promoting relevance, then you will be able to do it all yourself.

If you have any questions after reading through everything on the site, PM me with the url and I will have a look.
