Incorrect Data on SQ best buy tables!

I have called SQ re this before and its still not fixed!

on the best buy table for credit cards, EGG shows the wrong data!

SQ best buy table says: 13.9% apr variable
Egg.com says : 12.3% apr variable

SQ best buy table says: 0% till Sep04
Egg.com says : 0% till Nov04 or Jan05 (which ever way you take it)


You know why I'm narked?.....cos after boring my sister to death about my site, when she wanted a new card, she goes to my site........see's the wrong information, fecks off to another site and earns them the commission...

BTW, the SQ comparison tool is also wrong, its says 0% till Oct04


I'm pretty sure the main reason these came about was so that affiliates didn't have to keep on updating creatives and copy ever month.

Please please please, can these be kept bang up to date otherwise they are useless and make our sites look bad!

Hi Tom
The rate is correct!! If you check with egg, the 12.3% is on purchases only and the standard apr is 13.9%. We have updated the 0% balance transfer dates, although we do check these criteria very regularly and do apologise that this had not been seen as yet, it is a very recent change.

the 0% on transfers went from Sept to OCt, then to Nov.

It has been out of date for over a month now.

I called for you but you were not there that day and I spoke with a techy.

Hi there
No problem looking into this, obviously it is critical that this info is correct! I would suggest emailing me directly if you ever do pick up on anything again, then even if I have been out of the office I have some record of what has happened. Its by far the best way to ensure that it doesn't get missed. We don't operate an automated support system so your first point of call for technical probs is me or Marie. All fixed now though!
