obviously 301 is standard, just wondering if it can be better utilised ?

Well I guess you could put a minisite on it with a bit of unique content and use it to build links to the mainsite. But to be honest, if you're finding yourself "swithering" I'd go for the simple option of 301ing it for now. Keeps other options open for the future, but keeps it simple and focussed to help you get started now?

    Cheers, Jon

You may be better to have two completely different sites & blogs for each.

If you really want just one blog, this could be a way forward.

    www. domain.com/blog/
    www. domain.com/us/
    www. domain.com/uk/

    301 permanent domain.co.uk to www. domain.com/uk/
Yes, i would do this too, it sounds like the best way or maybe you could go for a subdomain too.
