You will get tons of social bookmarking site. Many of them are nofollow and doesn’t help in linkuilding and many are dofollow and they do help in linkbuiding. For getting traffic dig, delicious, stumbleupon, reditt, mixx, buzz are good. They really provide quality traffic but they are nofollow, s they wont help in backlinks.

It does depend on whether you've got time to spread yourself widely across many social networks.
List of social networking websites - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This list gives numbers and if you're after quantity rather than specifics you've got agood idea of which are worth looking.
Some of the more specialised networks might be more useful to some sites more than others.

Does it depend on whether you are looking for readers/visitors or inbound links?
I have Google Alerts set up to pick up links into my sites & the only site that it ever picks up inbound links for is Yahoo Buzz!
When I run checks in Internet Business Promoter, it does pick up links in Digg, but what about any other sites? Do any of them count in terms of links, or are they all nofollow?
All the talk of social bookmarking seems pointless if the links don't count & 90% of the traffic/news is American! I've tried social bookmarking, article submissions etc. but still only have 5 inbound links listed in Google for one of my main sites - AAAAGH!
Does anyone know what benefit each of the major bookmarking sites ACTUALLY has for our marketing?
I tend to use: Digg, Delicious, Diigo, Facebook, Reddit, Stumble, Twitter & Yahoo Buzz. Added to that if I have time are Propeller, Slashdot, MySpace, Squidoo & Technorati.
But, am I WASTING MY TIME?!
