Does anyone have any Text link ads on their sites. I have so many requests it is very hard to turn them down but I have heard some scary stories about Google penalising sites. Has anyone ever experienced this? Does anyone else have text link ads on their sites?

No i dont have but you cant have text link ads with google adsens. Text link ads is not at all compatible with adsense. So its better to stay away from it.

I have had a few in the past, it's easy money, however you do leak visitors, and of course there is always that threat (not sure if its just an old wifes tale), that you will lose google love.

In the early days I took all the money I could get, however I now prefer proper blog sponsors.
