Misleading marketing material can cost jobs and money

I just have a problem with false advertising that dissapoints people, make them loose tons of money.

So do I! It is truly a vicious circle...insurance companies who advertise false truths make it so much harder for other insurance companies to be seen without sprouting similar lies. They don't even have to lie, they can just mislead you into thinking what they want you to. :sneaky And what is the outcome? People are hooked right in and after years of paying and being mislead they have wasted so much money. Luckily Standard Life was caught out for this, but can you imagine the damage the bad publicity has cost them? And also paying 2million pounds during a recession probably means the company will have to make cuts on other areas like jobs and salaries of the pure people who are unaware of foul play... :tdI really feel sorry for them.
