You need more frinds. The more frinds you have the more views of your video![]()
I have an account but I am clueless on how to maximize this as a marketing tool.
Any ideas that has worked effectively?
I'm thinking of linking my own videos to my blog and facebook, but what else?![]()

Youtube is really one of the best site for marketing especially if you are doing video marketing.. I think social media is really best marketing strategy today..
Upload your own videos with watermark on 'em, that's gotta be it. Be sure it will be a hit to all viewers.
YouTube can be a great means of getting brand awareness for your business and adding them to your social media websites will help, but ideally you want tens or hundreds of thousands of viewers which means that the videos you upload should be something that plays on peoples emotions - preferably humour! In order to create a relationship between your business and the video you need to, as meanschooled says, stick a watermark in the corner or show your web address at the beginning or end of the video.
In order to get visibility in the search engines, you should aim to use your domaint keywords in the video title, tags and description. You can even add a link to your website in the description part which will hopefully traffic to your website.
Has anyone seen the Blendtec virals? They were immediate success, their latest one is the Vuvuzela... YouTube - Will It Blend? - Vuvuzela World Cup 2010
Hope this helps.
you can make videos of your services or products, and then upload them to youtube, and use it as marketing tool, and it can have very good impact on your market, just try it, and test it. Take care!
Hi there, here's some things you should do to increase traffic to your videos and popularity:
Ensure your video has great content, is funny, shocking or controversial. If it is of interest to people they will pass it on.
You could also search for videos that are similar in content to the one you have. The video should have at least 100,000 views. Open that video and copy their tags. add them to your video. This means you’ll have a good chance of appearing in their related videos.
Comment on relevant and similar videos to the topic you are covering. You could also post a video response, because it will give you a few extra hundred views. It also look good for the person or company you piggybacked from, because you’ll be adding value to their video.
Customize your page to support your topic. Your channel description should be keyword-rich so that people can find you.
Ensure the attributes of your videos such as the title, descriptions, tags and category match the keyphrases you wish to rank for, it will add to ensuring effective optimisation.
Subscribe to related users and join groups within your niche. Interact and build a relationship with your fellow video producers, this could lead to mentions and endorsements on their videos, all building links back to your channel.
Engage your audience using contests, and use their interactivity tools.
There are websites in which you can embed your video code, in order to reach a larger amount of people:
Music Videos, Politics, and Funny Videos at Vodpod (video sharing site)
SPIKE.COM: Check out the premier online destination for Men! (male interest video sharing site)
MySpace UK
Channel Guide at Magnify Networks (video curation engine)
INFECTIOUSVIDEOS.COM (video blogging service)
Sifted Videos • VideoSift: Online Video *Quality Control (video aggregator service)
NowPublic.com | The News is NowPublic (User generated news service)

I would suggest watermark your video, and make sue the yrl is visible in the video, so that users see it continuously and probably they will someday open the url to get more info !!
You need lot of patience while dealing with this kind of tricks..![]()
