Deleting messages on twitter?

Is there a way to delete posts on twitter or do you have to kill the account?

On the web or using a separate client? If web, just hover over the post and 'Delete' shows up on the bottom right of it.

[EDIT] New Twitter is broken for me at the moment so that might be related? Try switching to Old.

After log in into your account then click on your profile from the menu.Then run your mouse over the tweet you want to delete.The word delete will highlight.Then verify that you want to delete this tweet,After refreshing the page your tweet will get delete.
