Best business blog?

Hi,
I'm sure this has been covered in the past, but cannot for the life of me find it....I am looking at starting up a blog for my company, and want to know the best solution to use...my developers are advising WP.com, I know there are some drawbacks of this, over the hosted solution...however I've also seen some people using typepad or blogger...does anyone have experience of these, or looked at the pros/cons of these solutions in the recent past?

Use wordpress, nothing get anywhere near it.
Host on your own site, maybe blog/mysite.com

you can use wordpress either as a hosted solution or host it yourself (see wordpress.com vs wordpress.org)

hosting yourself gives you more flexibility, but either is better than not at all!

According to me Blogspot is also a very good blog host which provide large facilities. For my money making online i am using blogspot. Overall i am very happy and satisfied with my blogs which have PR 3 and good traffic generation.
