    Hi

Thanks for the post an thank for buying the plugin. Just to let you an everyone know, V2 of the Amazon plugin will be released in the next week or so, it will be far more advanced than the current one, and it will access many more fields.

Some of the info can not be accessed as it is not provided for the API, it is all to do with if Amazon own the content or not.

I am also releasing a new version of the datafeed plugin with some minor enhancements

    Thanks

    Hi Matt,

Are you planning on adding support for zipped files? I have been trying to use it with some feeds from affiliate window direct by URL, but they are all zipped, so doesn't work.
Or if not can anyone point me in the direction of an easy way to schedule my server to get the feeds from affiliate window automatically in the evening for instance and then unzip them so that the plugin could then update posts from url on my own server?

    Cheers
    Paul

Standard zipped files should work for you. gzip doesnt.

I am using his plugin with zipped affiliatewindow feeds.

I tried xml and csv versions but still no joy. I wonder if it's something to do with my server setup or something?

    Hi,

I've used it a little bit, but really want some extra fields from version 2, so I'm hoping that's coming soon.

Are you struggling with the installation, or actually using the plugin? I'll try to help if I can.

eta-> sorry should have clarified, I was referring to the amazon plugin.

Same here. I sent an email to digitalquill in the beginning of April and haven't got reply back yet.

The software has a lot of potential. It could easily be the best datafeed import plugin for Wordpress, but there are some serious bugs in it at the moment.

I wouldn't recommend to buy this plugin until the creator starts to provide at least somekind of customer support to its clients.

I had a lot of trouble with this guy and he kept telling me that the problem was my end, I had to email him constantly to get any type of response. When i did get a response it was not in anyway helpful.

I would not recommend buying this plugin until the creator sorts out his support side of the plug in,

I have released a new version of the plugin which includes some bug fixes and two great new features for link masking and click tracking. I am constantly working hard to improve the plugin in anyway I can. I hope this the latest version (2.03) of this plugin will cure some problems with some server environments.

I am also looking into a totally hosted version of the plugin which will include wordpress hosting, If this is something that people would like I will look into this further

In addition I am trying to improve the support I provide. I have taken on a sub-contractor to handle some of the coding and support for the plugin

This is not the only CSV Affiliate DataFeed Importer Plugin for Wordpress.

I provide two, CSV 2 POST which was my first project since leaving University and then I created Easy CSV Importer. ECI allows you to import from your desktop, updates your data and much more. New versions weekly, today Version 1.3 was released with upgrade to allow Trade Doubler categories stored in one column to work with the categorising my plugin does.

There are many test blogs and endless videos, you will find the links to those here...

I purchased this plugin last week. It looks good, but I got problems uploading product feeds. The first commission junction feed just wouldn't upload. During the process of uploading from my computer to wordpress it just wouldn't complete. The feed is quite big (22K records), but most of these product feeds are that big. There's no point of using this plugin for me if it can't handle big product feeds.

I just sent Matt an email. Let's wait and see of there's a solution. I will post an update as soon as I know more...

    Matt,
I would really like to buy the csv plugin, but I tried your online demo with my csv file from Shareasale and it did not read it correctly. I am wondering if you can help me out. The file is pipe (|) delimited. I also tried comma delimited. Fields are either cut short or left out. This really seems like all the features I need so I would really appreciate any help in getting it to work.

    Thanks.
    Pam
