    Do not buy that plugin:

    1. Wordpress Datafeed Plugin or Wordpress Datafeed Import Plugin or Wordpress Datafeed Import has no support

    2. If you try to report bug you won't get reply

    3. No option to ask for money back

    4. The plugin itself mess with the columns ......

    5. FIND BETTER SOLUTION -> GOOD SUPPORT even if the price will be higher

Sorry I have not met up to your expectations for support, if you can email me with the details I will do my best to help. I have just implemented a ticketing system so that I can track support queries, so hopefully I will not miss any in the future.

    Kindest Regards

Yep good that the Demo is back ..... guys try first before pay the plugin as you won't get the support even with the ticket system that was posted earlier in that thread.

I am pleased to announce that I have released Version 3.0 of the Datafeed Import Plugin for Wordpress.

    Datafeed Import Plugin for Wordpress

This version has had a great deal of work and time dedicated to it, not only to bring some fantastic new features, but also to re-write some of the back-end code behind the plugin, making it more efficient and allowing it to work better with deeper nested XML feeds.

Version 3.0 of the Datafeed import plugin includes new functionality that allows you to add your own custom content to a post while leaving the plugin to maintain datafeed data, this is a huge step forward for the plugin allowing you the ability to add unique content to your site and as such improve your SEO.

I have also re-designed the interface making it easier to use and added contextual menus to insert datafeed references into the template and you can now create the posts as draft as well as scheduled and directly published.

In response to users complaints that support has been lacking, I have created tutorial videos to aid you in your use of the plugin. These can be found on the new website for Version 3.0 of the plugin Datafeed Import Plugin for Wordpress

I will make every effort to respond to support queries, but please do keep in mind that it may take time to find a solution, problem solving this tool is a complex procedure and has to look at many aspects outside the control of the plugin, the particular datafeed, your server and php setup and many more factors.

I am pleased to say I have thousands of users creating stunning websites with the plugin, and I hope making a great deal of money in the process. I will continue to further develop the plugin, users can vote on the features they want including in Version 3.1.

    Kind regards

    Matt Houldsworth

    Hi MAtt,

I have been following this topic with great interest. Myself, I have bought this plugin recently and I must say it works very good. My compliments on your work! I run a site with this plugin for some time now, and there are some - think - small issues, I want to ask you about.

And from there I have to agree with some of the posters before: I tried to contact you, throught email and I also registered a support ticket twice, but never reveived any response.

In the news section of my Wordpress admin I read that that you have problems receiving a lot of spam on your ticket system, in my opinion I think it is important that this ticket problem has to be solved soon.

    1. So is there any way how to contact you for support?
    2. Could it be a suggestion to set up a user message board? In that case users can share tips and help each other. If you also can contribute to topics and respond so every one else will benefit by that and you don't have to solve each ticket individually.

It is just a suggestion. I think it also can help to make this plug in better in the long run.

Again, it is great software and I appreciate the effort that has been put into it.

    Regards,

    Hello,

Just wondering is there any chance for the Wordpress CSV Datafeed import plugin to be converted for use with joomla? Or does anyone know of similar pluging for joomla?

    Thanks

    Greetings,

I have purchased your Importer Tool.

    My Site: SoNotRetail.com
    Theme: Clipper (appthemes.com)

I am interested in sponsoring the development for Custom Posts Integration.

I need to specify which type of Post to transfer the data into. Currently, the default (and only option) is to import into the standard wordpress posts. However, Clipper theme uses other post types for their coupon location.

    Best regards,

It is a great shame that Matt Houldsworth can still not provide a support system and does not reply to emails. If it weren't for that this would be a good piece of software and I would promote and recommend it. However, there is no way I can currently recommend it until bugs are fixed and emails are replied to.

I wrote on 2nd August reporting a bug concerning the tags. At that time he actually replied on that day, saying that it would be fixed in the new version, 3.01, which was due out very soon.

I wrote again on 21st October asking if it would be fixed soon - no reply

I wrote again on 31st October, asking that he at least reply even if it was not fixed - no reply

Today I tried using his support system - doesn't work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    What a shame Matt.
