Thread: OPODO sales or lack of for 2 days?????

I would contact TD Affiliate support as they are best placed to put your mind at rest.

I have 2 sales for Opodo one was with the value of £0.00 and commission £0.00 (wonder what that was) and the other was £217 and a commission of £5.

got at least a sale every day this week

I was searching for flights with Opodo today and for every destination airport I chose (apart from one), there were no flights available.....even thought availability was fine on other sites for the same days & routes.

I've never promoted Opodo.....so can't comment on the program's general performance. However, as a user, I was pretty disappointed with the results, albeit a nice website to use.

sales ticking over, it is a very good program.

I am disappointed to read your comments - if you could email me offline - i can get your SITE ID and check your site and your links with Tradedoubler. I have just checked the results are all affiliates have been generating sales as normal each day, so I would want to look into your case separately if that is okay?

We have had no problems at all with the site, however, I would like to know from RewardSites, exactly what dates/destination/airline he was searching for, so I can provide a reason for the availability issue. Again, please feel free to email me at abbie.alter@opodo.comwith the details.

Just to clarify Darren's issue with availability of the flights he was looking for - i have emailed him to explain that there is no availability on scheduled carriers for the Origin and Destination Point he was searching for.

To confirm then, there is no problem at all with the Opodo site, and as I pointed out to Darren, both Ebookers and Expedia do not have availability either.

Hope that reassures and doesn't mislead anyone.

A satisfactory answer

Just to add that I never saw any problem with Opodo last month. Sales & conversions are both going well.

One issue on the availability front - were you searching for routes not flown by the major scheduled airlines? None of the sites show no-frills airlines. This makes putting London Stansted or London Luton on the pull down bar of limited use. I think East Midlands was on there, but that seems to have gone. Yet there are other airports which do have a reasonable number of scheduled flights, which aren't on there - Southampton, Leeds etc.

Any comments on this, Abbie?

The number of airports has been refined to accommodate the most popular in terms of ticket sales and to keep the file sizes of our quicksearches as small as possible.

If you wish to allow users to search from other regional airports, we can either add them on to your preferred size format for you - or you can use a free text version (we have 468*150 and 120*120) instead.
