Banner rotation - bizarre behaviour

I realise that Tradedoubler's banner rotation automatically optimises the banner displays based on how well a merchant does, but it seems to be slightly TOO sensitive

We have only had a couple of sales for inkfactory.co.uk yet the rotation shows their banner about 40% of the time. This is despite their banner being given 0% 'Element weight'.

Anybody else experiencing these kind of weighting problems? We're making heavy use of TradeDoubler's banner serving pools and don't want one or two merchants to hog up all the displays against our will...

Nobody else having this problem? Or is nobody else using TD's banner feeding software?

We don't tend to use banners since they haven't been that effective for us. We use them to add brand-weight to certain pages and for the visual effect they can create when not simply nailed to the masthead.

Have you spoken to Advertising.com? I believe their ad serving is impressive (and can be partially controlled by the publisher). You need quite big impression volumes, but contact James Rothwell on 020 75630507 if you need more info. jrothwell@uk.advertising.com.
