    Hi everyone,

I'm been following this excellent <img src=http://www.gamers-forums.com/smilies/contrib/ruinkai/biggthumpup.gif ALT=":thumb"> forum for the last month or so and have recently dipped my toe into the 'affiliate marketing' waters.

I hope you can help me with a couple of questions. Last time I logged into TD, I spotted a number of referrer errors appearing in the Traffic Error report, most listed as generating from 'mysite.com'. In the site info I had my listed as www.mysite.com, so I have now changed this to mysite.com. Is this correct and will this now pick up both www.mysite.com and mysite.com referrals? Is the 'referrer error' traffic (cookies, sales, clicks etc.) lost or will these now be awarded now that I have changed the site url?

I recall reading somewhere on the forum that you may need to register different urls (one with and without the 'www'). If I have to do this, do I need to re-apply for all the programs again under the 2nd url?

Thanks in advance for any advice!!

    David

    Welcome to the forum,

You should regsiter all url's within your admin area.

You can either add each site individually if you want to check the performance of individual campaigns and sites, or bundle them alltogether.

so in yourcase just use the one accounts and add each url seperated by a 'comma',

    i.e www.yoursite.com,http://y...ersite.com etc...

I don't think you wil be rewarded for previous errors though, check with TD.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks,

I will add the urls separated with a comma, as you suggested.

I have fired off a query regarding credit for the Traffic Errors to TD, but I suspect I may have to wait a while for a reply.

    David
