Totally agree - the need to re-apply is a bit cack-handed, but it's better than being unceremoniously dumped for no good reason.

<blockquote><strong><em>Quote:</em></strong><hr>Dear affiliate,
Thank you for applying to Direct Line's affiliate programme.
Unfortunately there was a mistake in the application process and a
number of associates were denied. Please can you re-apply to our
affiliate programme.
In order to reapply you need to add another site to your account. To do
this:
1/ log in
2/ click "edit site info"
3/ click "register another site"
4/ fill in your details again
5/ go to the program you want to apply to again - you will see there is
a pull down menu that you can use to select your new site
6/ apply again as usual.
(please note that you should call the site Whatever2 so that you can
distinguish it from the original in the drop-down box. For instance if
your site name is ShoppingUK then calling the second site ShoppingUK2.
Naturally the url stays the same.)
Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Best Regards,
Direct Line Affiliate Marketing Team[/quote]
I want to re-apply but is this the best way to do it, you would think they could just reset your application or have some "appeal" that you could apply for.
Anyway it was nice of them to notice the mistake, other affiliate managers take note, better to admit a mistake then to keep going under the pretence that you actually know what your doingI have had a couple of companies that should know better (and I know a few other "super" affiliates had the same thing happen, so now is your chance to follow Direct Lines lead).

In my opinion direct line deserve a big thumbs down they sell all of the following: (I cut & paste from their home page thats why its a mess).

Car Buying One Account Loans Life Insurance Pet Insurance Critical Illness Loans ISA

The poor affiliate only gets paid on Motor Insurance & Home Insurance![]()
