We've just been informed by Tradedoubler that the B&Q affiliate programme finishes on the 11th January.
Seems a shame, but B&Q, like Homebase was never a big converter. Awful lot of window shoppers checking on prices/availabilty and then heading down the the warehouse to bung the goods in the boot of the car.
I think they might be testing the water to see who is providing what service and also if one network over another can make better conversions for them.. Ink Factory looks to be doing very well being on a few networks, I promote them via TD and AF works well for me, however I am starting to think AF is the better deal, and as soon as they sort out paying me sometime I might just promote some other merchants also.
I should add that because TD couldn't make a simple change to my account way back at the start I just blanked them out for 6 month and used DGM and CJ only.. now TD is by far my biggest money maker of course there is a good many "ok" sized merchants just on 1 or 2 networks, heck I bet very few of us here are on them all.. like who uses ClicksGalore.. I know I don't but I am sure a few do.

Supercod - you're not being paid?
Give me a call on 0208 400 5562 or drop me a mail to luke@affiliatefuture.co.uk. You should have been paid..
Inkfactory are a very good merchant with us, but there are a couple of others doing just as well...
Hi Luke, nope not yet, £198 just sitting in the account "freeukstuff", £138 was errant in September 2002... I updated my details around the end of October because I was told that was the problem (no I have not put my bank details in to your non-secure server but as it's not a BACS payment you won't need them for a cheque right). Any way I am not to worried I am sure I will get paid in the end.
Supercod - could you send me an email, if you haven't been paid yet then it must have been overlooked or something - email me you details to luke@affiliatefuture.co.uk so I can chase it for you...
"Ive never understood why these companies need to be on more than 1 network. They must have money to burn"
This is one reason, but the main reason is because Merchants have been sold the age old (now) sales pitch of we have xxx number of affiliates in our network by comparison to others. Some merchants think that the more affiliates they get the more sales. How ever this is not always the case.
