umm.. 1 sale in my last 494 clicks not 2 good
Anyone had any sales from Debenhams recently?
I've sent them over 1200 clicks since my last sale, I'd expect to get around 20 sales from that many clicks.

When was your last sale?
In the first 7 days of this month I got 12 sales from around 800 visitors, so to then get no sales from 1200 visitors in the following two weeks seems highly improbable unless there's a problem with the tracking.

The UV for our monthly report only shows 1 UV and zero sales.
When actually clicking on January 2003
UV 1698
Sales 27
Last Sale 18th January
Apart from Loss in correlation of data, it looks normal, but we can only offer how we see it from here.
December 2002 only averaged £2 commission per sale. Average basket only £40, which seems quite small!!!
Whereas the average basket size this month is twice as much.
How did others basket sizes compare?

That's been happening since the reporting problems they had last week. They fixed part of the problem but it's still not showing January's figures correctly in some reports.
My average basket size this month is around £72, last month it was £54.
But the lack of sales for the last two weeks means I've only earned 2p per click so far this year, compared to 3p in December. Either way, they're one of my worst performers.

Looks like it's just me with the Debenhams problems then.
I'm getting increasingly frustrated with the performance of Tradedoubler.
Although they're currently running neck and neck with CJ as my best network, and overall they're doing well, their performance varies so much from day to day it sometimes makes me wonder what's going on.
CJ seems to give me a fairly consistent level of performance day after day, but with TD it seems I can yoyo between £40 and £300 a day from a similar number of visitors, and some merchants that normally have several sales a day can then go several days or even weeks with no sales at all, only to start getting sales again just as suddenly.
I'm beginning to convert my links to CJ wherever possible because I fear that one day the TD yoyo won't go back up again.
This month has been a poor month with most retailers for me including Debenhams.
Those who have followed my regular complaints about TD's up and down performance may remember that when I moan about a bad spell from TD, things usually improve immediately.
When I posted my last message I'd earned £30 from Tradedoubler today. In the next 3 hours I earned another £70. That included my first Debenhams sale for two weeks, but it had a value of £0!
Still a below average day, specially for a Monday, but not as bad as I feared a couple of hours ago.
I gather that you get £0 commission on Wedding gift items at Debenhams - but personally I get too many for that to be true.
Ben.
JF - I had exactly the same thing as you with TD today.
I also share the same concerns about the patchy nature of the sales. All other networks are fairly smooth for me, TD has stages when it wobbles around like the premium bonds, "big win" one day, "couple of quid for a pint to drown your sorrows" the next.
I sense an overstressed database with some kind of batch run overflow/emergency measure in place.
I also find that as soon as the updates slow or stutter, I'm in for a bad day, despite a smooth day of web log stats.
Hello,
This subject concerns me too. I personally placed an order on the Applestore via one of my links, yesterday (monday), and I yet to see this sale in my stats. This is nearly 24 hours later. I have emailed TD without much sucess![]()
