If they're paying us 60 quid how much does it cost to insure a hamster? - wouldn't it be cheaper just to buy another one and keep it in a drawer somewhere ' just in case'![]()
Lloyds will be paying £60 CPA for Pet Insurance as of midnight tonight.
The Lloyds pet insurance creative will be available tomorrow morning.
As you are aware there are two programs for Lloyds, allow me to clarify what event tracks and where:
insurance.co.uk
Tracks: car insurance, home insurance and pet insurance.
screentrade.co.uk
Tracks: car insurance only.
A cookie from insurance.co.uk will not track on screentrade.co.uk and vice versa.
screentrade.co.uk and insurance.co.uk are separate entities and as such the underwriting check is different which is why we have 2 car insurance programs from Lloyds.
If you have not applied yet to any of the programs please do so as the applications are being reviewed almost immediately.
Any questions, please email nick.roveta@tradedoubler.com
Thanks,
Nick

Looks like they only do cats and dogs! Good idea though.
I was thinking of insuring my imaginary stick insect.
Vets fees are pretty low for stick insects so the insurance rate would have been low I'm sure.
Seriously, does anyone know if this is just on TD or is it on the CJ offering as well?
As I'm shortly going to be renewing insurance for my to cats, I thought I'd have a quick squizz at this...
A few simple quesions:
Has your pet been examined or treated by a vet for anything other than routine vaccinations or neutering in the last three years?
Is your pet currently ill or does it have an existing medical condition which may result in an insurance claim being made? (If in doubt, please consult your vet)
Has your pet been involved in an accident which resulted in, or may result in an insurance claim being made against you for negligence?
Now I'm sure a huge percentage will answer yes to the first question, and then you're told to call them. Are these tracked???

Hi Graham,
Good point, I had not seen that (my excuse is I dont have any pets) - I think Lloyds are offering great commission at £60, for policies that may only be worth £80 a year to them.
And that question is basically asking, has your pet ever had any need (Lloyds risk) to be examined other than standard vetinary reasons.
I think it would be very difficult to encapsulate in a logical order online the proceeding questions needed to address this risk regarding any incidents that owners must answer that question "yes" to.
Just my thoughts,
Thanks,
Nick
Target puppy owners.. As the answers to the questions won't be a yes to them in most cases.. I been paying my insurance to Lloyds TSB for 2 years now.. Might just have to cancel and sign-up again LOL![]()
Nick,
I hear where you're coming from, and yes it is a very good rate, however the affiliate should still earn commission if the policy is issued (esp. as it's 60 squid)
Supercod, targetting Puppy/Kitten oweners is a good idea unless you get your kitten home and it's not well (like just happened to me!). Of course you could just lie....![]()
Another point to make re: targetting - if you buy a pet from a registered breeder, you usually get 3 months free Pet Plan insurance - this is very expensive, but many people would just continue this as it's the easy option. Informing those peeps at after 2 months would be purrrrfect![]()
