If you know how to run a an event breakdown report and use Carphonewarehouse.

Could anyone say what % of reversals they are experiencing?

For ourselves it is about 65% reversals, which is pretty unbelievable and not far off a Sporting Index scenario.

November 60.7% Reversals

December 71.08% Reversals

From first look almost all of mine so far have been revearsed.

I used do quite well with them but its as if they have got a new person in charge of the program whose rejecting all the commissions.

We need to sign up and these rogue affiliate programs ourselves and record wether they reject the commission or not. (Im thinking Sporting Index as well )

I didn't realise you could view removed, which I have about 70%. Including a mobile phone I bought as a christmas present for someone.

December looks to me like 45% of sales reversed.

How are you calculating it just so I do it the same way for comparison? I've done

(number of sales removed/ total number of sales) * 100

These reversal rates seem way too high....

Our above figures are based on the the value of the sale, when based upon the volume of sales, this is 56% for both November and December.

Another batch of sales removed. My stats for Jan 1-Jan 24
£105 approved
£173 removed

So about 63% removal this time.

Thankfully I removed all links last week.

It works out i had over 8K reversed

To be honest i understand that reversals do happen and if it was an ave % i.e 5% a month then i wouldnt be saying anything.... but the figures just dont make sense!!

I have spoken with TD and urged a response directly from the merchant via TD.... . TD said their client expects about 50% reversal rate.

I spoke with a represenative of another program and even though they do get about 30% reversals on contract phones, but much much less on other items. They were a little surprised on this reversal rate on CPW.

We don't use any other mobile phone program with anything anywhere near this reversal rate.

I have also requested a breakdown report, which I doubt will receive on the cause of reversal and what the percentages are for the various types of products on their deal structure.

Now having met CPW at their head office in the past, it takes months for the simplest thing to be done. I hope it isn't so this time.

If there isn't a suitable response with facts and figures by Friday then they shall be removed from our site.
