I am pleased to announce that Wheel will be working with 'The Link' mobile phone retailer over the next few months to optomise their existing partnership program with Tradedoubler. The Link are investing heavily in their affiliate scheme and have given us additional budget to drive contract phone sales. The Link currently offer 5% on all sales, plus £10 bounty on contract phones.

We have set up a bonus scheme for the coming months to really show you the value of The Link as a mobile phone partner: As you can see its easy for all to get double commissions! We are open and honest about our program and want to work more closely with partners in this area.

Under 10 confirmed contract sales, usual £10 bounty
Over 10 confirmed contract sales, get £20 bounty

1st to 31st March 2004
Under 10 confirmed contract sales, usual £10 bounty
Over 10 confirmed contract sales, get £20 bounty

1st to 30th April 2004
Under 10 confirmed contract sales, usual £10 bounty
Over 10 confirmed contract sales, get £20 bounty


Creative Planning

Banners/Buttons - We currently have a Link campaign, but will also be uploading a valentine promoting to promote Picture messenging phones which are set to be hot over the period!
Content Unit - Our content unit is scheduled to go live
XML - Watch this space! I would like to hear from partners who use XML as we will have a feed reay in April to work with selected partners.
Other - If you need any other creative please let us know and we'll get right on it.

Some facts about the program & PPC guidlines

* We estimate around 30-40% of contract phones to be unsuccesful and reversed. This is industry standard, The Link are refining their technology which means this level of reversals will in time drop
* If you want to talk about Conversion and EPC just drop me a line
* Keywords; We encourage our partners to use PPC and request any brand related keywords go to a link dedicated page or direct as the conversions will be much higher.
* Bonues are currently added manually and will appear on invoices but will be paid monthly
* New technical upgrades in March will allow contract phones to appear in affiliate reports
