Adwords clicks on TD

Chaps,

Being newish to this sort of thing, I thought I would try a little experiment before going hell for leather on something.

I am paying (not very much) for certain keywords on a TD merchant but the clicks don't match. Adwords is telling me X but TD tracking is telling me a lot less than X.

Here is the tricky bit. Tell me if I am years behind everyone else, but I presume you can put your tracking link from TD straight into the adwords ad ?

You can put your link directly to TD and it will track.

Are the figures a lot out? Are you allowing for the fact that adwords works on US time zones, and TD on European - so some clicks that adwords say are yesterdays are actually todays? (if you get my drift).

It might also be worth getting TD's keyword reporting switched on if you haven't already.

Thanks mate, I am pretty sure its tracking okay, just wanted to make sure that I could put my tracking links into adwords.

Hi Casinomax,

if you are sending traffic directly to an advertiser you need to be enabled for keyword functionality. If your account has not been enabled there can be a discrepancy between the clicks paid for and TDs clicks received.

Please can you send me your TradeDoubler username and I will check this feature has been enabled.
