Does anyone know if when we send a punter through to:

http://www.moneysupermarket.com/term.../Termleads.asp

and they click on the lifesearch or morethan life banners at the top we earn money?

Because I think its bloody cheeky to put other advertising on a lead form especially life insurance advertising!

anyone got an angle on this?

I had a look, their site seems full of other advertising. And without deeplinking to pages which can generate leads I imagine a user would get distraced and either leave or click on an advert before they get anywhere near making you a lead.

It's not just that, they stopped the deep linking working so if someone clicks a life assurance banner they end up on their homepage, and they also removed some of the tracking.
Tradedoubler said it's being resolved and we should be compensated. With regards to them advertising other life assurance programs I agree that is out of order, I don't think they sell life assurance themselves, they sell the leads onto other life assurance companies, so by having the banners they are still sending leads to other companies but without us getting paid.
I think they'd have a lot more affiliates if they made a few changes.

well it serves me bloody right!...i just added it to about 100 pages on my site......whinge whinge moan arse

If memory serves me correct, they started on tradedoubler ages ago then stopped because of technical issues.....

now they are trying some other tricks........I'm not trying to slag moneysupermarket off here, I want a decent life partner and they could do really well out of us lot if they sort these problems out!
