Thumbs up New merchant - Disneyland Paris

1. For all reported bookings on disneylandparis.com - made through a link from your site whilst you remain an affiliate - you will earn:
# 3.50 GBP per booking of Tickets
# 7 GBP per booking of Packages
NB : these commissions will be paid upon arrival of the guests at Disneyland Resort Paris and not upon reservation.

Once our program is launched, we will look to offer higher commissions to those sites that perform best. Watch this space for more details!

2. A 45-day cookie, which means that you’ll earn commissions even if your customers return and purchase directly from disneylandparis.com (within a 45-day period after the original click-through).

3. Access to our highly effective creatives, which will change on a regular basis and will also add variety & colour to your site – not to mention boost your traffic to earn you commissions!

I think I was rejected because I run a Competition and Free Stuff site and as John, Jason and Carl will tell you these types of sites make no money at all as all 200,000 of my users have no money and only managed to get online after they seen the Blue Peter how to build your on computer from toilet roll show

But I best add, all credit to Nick at TD, he said he would have a word with the merchant for me and to be fair it's not always clear to a merchant how you can make them money, but as I say with sales stuff as long as you don't look like a dodgy affiliate it should be our risk if we want to push a program that won't work for us as long as it's done in a professional manner.. of course leads programs are a whole other ball game as no money changes hands with the consumer and you need to be careful what type of affiliate you let promote you.

The Disneyland Paris booking procedure looks a bit dodgy for affiliates - there are 3 choices of booking type:

1) Book directly on the site
2) Email them for a quote (probably have to phone them up afterwards with your reference no.)
3) Telephone a booking

I assume that options 2) and 3) are not going to be very good for the confirmed commissions, coupled with the fact that you don't get any commission until the customers actually arrive at the park.

Whats that all about ?

Must be batched...normal batch programs are ok but I never like programs that are run like this.

I got declined, which came as no surprise, but it's always a good sense of humour test to apply anyway.

Joe I am not surprised your one of them really bad affiliates that only make about £10 million a year in sales for merchants LOL
