Hi, yes we're running that one, it's going really well so far
It's also running on affiliatefuture where some affiliates are getting conversion rates of better than 1 in 3 clicks to a signup which is exceptional!
We have just released an html email template for the sweet collect program, if anyone would like it please send me a PM.

Anyway, back to flipside, does anyone think we're actually ever going to get paid for it, as I understand it affiliate future kicked them off their network a few months ago for non payment.

Im sure I had an email off them saying TD had kicked them off too, in which case nope you'll probably not get paid.

pistol101 seems to know their stuff
Flipside was removed from AffiliateFuture last summer as they had payment problems. You'll not see any paymnets as they are coming from cascade who are just about to go bust.

Anyway you've got an agreement with TD so get your money back from them.

Sweet Collect is going really well.

Pete, Cashcade/GetMinted contacted me yesterday pitching their offerings so I took the chance to press them on their relationship and financial liability through Flipside.

I too believed Flipside was financed by cascade but the guy I spoke to categorically denied this and suggested that Flipside where just a white label partner using their technology.

Are you sure Flipside are more closely involved with cashcade - I'd like to know before I *flip* on the contact I spoke to!

Cheers

  For what it's worth

When I worked at Flipside we had a deal with Cashcade where they would contribute towards the TradeDoubler marketing spend.

This was over 9 months ago so it's possible that the relationship has changed since then.

When I spoke to Flipside the other day to make them aware that you guys were not being paid, they said that they would pay TradeDoubler as soon as they were renumerated by CashCade.

I don't know what the truth is because I only have the word of one party.

However, in Flipside's defence, I have also heard about other partners of CashCade who are also owed outstanding monies. But I have not seen any evidence of this with my own eyes. So I can't say it's definately fact.

Make of it what you will.

I'm not going to cut'n'paste the entire email as it's unfair to share personal communications without consent.

However, I have received a detailed email from Cashcade illustrating their position and making assurances that they will be "covering all costs they are owed to Flipside via trade doubler". It goes on to explain that they hope this will be resolved by early April.

So it appears there may still be some hope that the Flipside revenues will not be written off.

  That's great

Nice one Neil - looks like your influence may result in Flipside and their affiliates getting their outstanding commissions paid at last.

If you did well with Flipside before I reccommend that you promote them again once this has been sorted.

I doubt that this mess will arise again now that there is a better understanding between the parties.
