I have to give credit where credit is due and say well done to TD for creating this product feed system and for actively responding to affiliates queries on this forum. Perhaps the biggest praise I can give is that even a non-technical numpty like me can use it! Well done guys.

Great to hear you find the product feed system easy to use as a non tecchy and feel we have responded to publisher requirements - this news will surely please the development team!

How do you get your account upgraded to access the new unlimited feeds.

Unlimited access needs to be enabled on your account. I have edited the first message on this thread with the instructions.

The URLs I supplied above are only example outputs for affiliates to access on this thread and are not the correct URLs for obtaining advertiser feeds.

Hi Nick,

I am enabled for unlimited feeds but my account still seems to be showing the old CSV format.

The instructions in your first post says click on the "Preview" button after selecting an advertiser. My account only gives me the "Show Code" option.

I am unsure whether I am getting the old format or new format.

I have PM'd you eith my account details.

@watcher - I think the new stuff at the top of this thread is mainly related to the product search and that the unlimited access part hasn't changed much (not front of house anyway). So CSV and XML zip/no zip remain the options.
Or ... I'm in the same boat as you

@Nick - how does access to unlimited feeds relate to merchant application/approval (if at all)? I applied to several merchants yesterday who have unlimited feeds, some got approved same day, some are still pending. Some feeds are available today, some (Yves Rocher, euroffice, YOOX) are throwing (no unlimited feed found) errors. Those 3 happen to be among the applications pending, but other pending apps have feeds available to me today.
Can you make sense of all that ?

Hi CrazyGuy,

TradeDoubler generate a product file for each publisher whose account has been enabled for unlimited access for each of his/her advertisers who have a product feed in our system.

This product file is created/refreshed every day (on average) for each publisher.

Initially after being enabled for unlimited access, or applying to a program specifically to access their feed, no file will exist on the product feed server and as such you will receive a "no file found" error.

However within 24-48 hours the product file will have been generated, and accessible, on your account.

As always, I need to plan ahead more. My usual mode of working is "right, today I must add widgets to site X" forgetting that it's highly unlikely I will be able to identify a source, sign up, be accepted, and access a datafeed all in the next few hours

Still no euroffice, yoox or yves-rocher - does that suggest a problem?

Sorry if I'm being unduly impatient but I was hoping to finalise all outstanding feeds setup today before a major update at the weekend.

I can confirm that Euroffice, Yves-Rocher and Yoox product feeds on TradeDoubler are experiencing technical difficulties.

I have just had a look at the inprovements to the Product Feed and they look great. The only thing that I am requiring from the script that still has not been put right is the '£' sign needs to be shown rather than GBP and also some prices end in only a single naught instead of .00. If this can be sorted I am willing to start using the scripts. Please let me know if this option is going to be available soon.

Keep up the excellent work - I am eager to get cracking with the scripts!!

The allders feed has not gone live yet and should not have been included in the unlimited section. I will see that it is removed to avoid confusion.

I have noticed that the Tooled Up product feed does not contain a Product name - but the product name appears instead in the first part of the description field.

Is this just me?
