Hi guys,
A routine system upgrade affected some of the login and reporting functionality, tracking wasn't affected during this time.
Everything should be ok now, let us know if you have any further problems.
Kind Regards,
Tara

Having problems here too. When I hit "login" on the main site, I get "An error has occurred. Please try again." plus a "No access to logon as" message.
Oddly, seems to let me in if I use Chrome, but not Firefox or IE

Hey Guys,
The error you are seeing is very likely to be related to the security settings of your brower. Please submit a ticket to support.uk@tradedoubler.com and we will be able to provide you with a resolution asap.
Many Thanks
tdMatt
Was hoping that as the issue is affecting multiple users, it wouldn't be a case of everyone having to raise their own support request to find out what TD's changed, but hey ho.
Support ID #322540 raised
I'll let the group know what the fix is, to save multiple requests...

Hi Jim,
Thanks for your response. Can you state a time frame over which this issue occured? (As specific as possible)
Many Thanks
tdMatt
If you're looking for clues, Tara Ismet has confirmed that TD has made changes to the Login recently, and over the last week, at least 5 users have reported problems with Login.
I'd suggest the two are related... Perhaps Tara can help with the timeframe?

To save everyone having to raise their own requests, here's the reply just received to my ticket:

Many thanks for your submission. As mentioned on the forum, this error is almost always related to security settings on your computer. Our site has to be able to drop a cookie that temporarily stores your log in data as you enter it, which is then transmitted to our system and allows you to log in. If the cookie cannot be dropped, then there is no way to store the details you use to log in, and the error message you are seeing, is displayed.
Please read the below guide to ammending your settings so that your computer can interact with our site as required.
We have had some reports that some Internet security software sometimes adds TradeDoubler - Performance-based Digital Marketing to the list of blocked domains. If this is the case you will need to:
- check whether you are blocking TradeDoubler - Performance-based Digital Marketing
- check whether you have added TradeDoubler - Performance-based Digital Marketing to your safe list
- check any new or existing security software to see if you are blocking TradeDoubler - Performance-based Digital Marketing
If you are using Internet Explorer:
- Go to Tools > Internet Options > Security
- Now select Restricted Sites and click “Sites”. Ensure that the
TradeDoubler website is NOT listed there.
- Now select Trusted Sites (also under Internet Options >
Security) and ADD TradeDoubler - Performance-based Digital Marketing to that list
- Now go to Tools > Internet Options > Privacy
- Now click “Sites” and ensure that the TradeDoubler website (if
listed there) is set as “Allowed”
- The final step is to navigate to Tools > Internet Options >
Privacy and click “Advanced”
- You should now ensure that the “Allow session cookies” check
box has been ticked.
You must repeat this process for ALL versions of Internet Explorer that are installed on your computer. Even an old copy of IE6 which has gone unused for some time, can still have an active blocked list that can cause these issues.
If you are using Firefox:
- Go to Tools > Options > Privacy
- Now click the “Exceptions” button and ensure that the
TradeDoubler website is NOT listed there
If you are using Chrome:
- Click the General Settings symbol (A spanner) in the top right
corner of the opened browser window
- Go to Options > Under The Bonnet > Privacy > Content Settings >
Cookies > Exceptions
- Now ensure that the TradeDoubler website is listed here with a
rule of “Allow”
If you are using Opera:
- Click the Opera logo in the top left corner of the screen
- Click Settings > Preferences
- Now select the Advanced Tab > Security > Trusted Websites
- Now ensure that the TradeDoubler website is listed here.
If you are using Safari:
- Click the General Settings symbol (A gear) in the top right
corner of the opened browser window
- Select Preferences > Security
- Under the “Accept Cookies” section, select “Never” and
click “Show Cookies”
- Ensure that you remove any reference to TradeDoubler cookies
you find here.
Please also check all versions of browsing software that you have on your computer (used or unused) as their "blocked lists" can still affect your ability to receive cookies and view websites. For example, if you use Firefox, any old versions of Internet Explorer should also be looked in to.
If this does not solve the problem, please repeat the process but looking at any security software you have on your computer such as anti- spyware, anti-adware, anti-virus and firewalls. These all have the ability to block cookies from websites, and as such you should check to see that our site is not being affected.
After having made any suggested changes, please try to log in to your account again.

OK. It hasn't helped with Firefox.
For anyone else trying on Firefox 4.01, note that the Exceptions button is under "Security", not "Privacy", and there are two of them, not one. Tradedoubler was not listed under either of them. Still not working.

Hi Paul,
Many thanks for your notes on the different options depending on the version of Firefox, we will update our advice.
Have you been able to look into the security settings of your anti-virus and firewall? These can also cause issues with cookie dropping.
Regards
tdMatt
OK. Followed the instructions on IE8. It was the "add TD to the trust site list" that fixed it for me.
IE8 doesn't seem to have the "Allow session cookies" tickbox that the instructions refer to.

Matt,
To help others in the same boat, could TD consider adding a big message on the front page - Something along the lines of:
"We've changed our login system. If you were able to make it though to this page, well done. If you can't get any further, follow this page of instructions (insert instructions).
If you can't find some of the options in the instructions, have a look through all of the menu options in your browser 'till you find them. Note that some options may not exist on your browser.
If you still have no luck, try playing with your anti-spyware, anti-adware, anti-virus and firewall settings till you get in."
... just a thought![]()
