i recently had 2 untracked sales on thetrainline. i know they didnt track because I booked one and a friend booked another from a different computer. i completed the untracked sale report for TD and the sales were approved but ive not received any real explanation for why they didnt track in the first place beyond maybe cookies being blocked, which they obviously arent

just wondering how thetrainline performs for other people. im worried because unless i make a booking, i'll have no way of knowing if they are tracking correctly.

    Hi Max,

Please could you send me the order numbers for these transactions and I could investigate further? You mentioned these have now been approved - have you now received your commission for these sales?

I often find that affiliates of the Trainline sometimes experience an UTS when a customer books their travel using a Business Account. The Trainline do not pay out on bookings made through a Business Account, only General tickets. Furthermore as you said, sometimes cookies can be blocked in the browser or the actual tracking pixel can miss fire.

If you'd like to discuss The Trainline more fully, or have any other queries in future please feel free to contact me or my colleague Daniel Lancioni directly. My personal email is ky.ismet@tradedoubler.com.

    Many thanks,
    Ky Ismet
