call me cynical but I reckon it will only be 40p - I get really annoyed over the measly 2% offering for some of their stuff - especially as 'other' could cover anything!!
I refuse to promote other programmes which only offer this amount.
Just received this from TD
I am not sure what others think, and not 100% sure what I think just yet, but if we send a visitor that makes a gift list of say £1,000 am I right in thinking that we would get a whopping 40p?As of today you can earn an extra commission from the John Lewis affiliate program. Whenever you refer a visitor who registers their gift list with John Lewis you will earn a 40p lead commission. It's not just for weddings - The Gift List is available for a number of special occasions.
Surely if we 'got the customer' for John Lewis, then anything that is bought from that Gift List should have a revenue attached, whether its bought online of from a shop? I know that we are not directly referring the person who is making payment, but we are refering the customer - the person who's list it is aren't we?

Having just enjoyed setting up a gift list at John Lewis I would have to agree that 40p is unbelievable to pay for a lead of this scale.
While on one hand we could be grateful for them introducing a lead for something we didn't get paid for before it also has to be weighed up against it being a lead potentially worth a couple of thousand pounds to them.
