Can someone from Tradedoubler please confirm whether the October invoice payment for Expedia can be expected on time on the 20th Dec (ie two working days time) as it is still showing as unpaid.

I have asked previously without response, as has someone else on another thread, so there are obviously a number of affiliates who wish to know whats happening with it, especially in light of Thomas Cooks failure to pay on time (again).

Some kind of feedback would be appreciated.

    Hi Sean,

The Expedia invoice will be paid in time for our affiliate payment run on the 20th December. Our accounts team is working closely with Expedia to ensure the invoice is paid in time for the release of affiliate payment.

Should you need anything further please feel free to contact me directly or my colleague Neguin.
    Many thanks,
    Ky

Does anyone else think that this response has a ring of what was said about Thomas Cook "we are sure they are going to pay...." and guess what happened.

Anyone want to hazard a wager that the next post about this on the 21st when it doesn't get paid goes along the lines "we did all we could...."

    Yours in xmas cynicism

In all fairness Expedia's record of paying on time is very good. I just dont know why they leave it so late in the day. They have had since 1 Nov and it looks like it will need to be paid the day before the deadline in order to avoid being late.

Thomas Cook are a different proposition - they have only actually made a couple of payments on time as long as I can remember which is inexcusable. Im waiting for the email from them in a couple of days (after not paying again) asking us to "promote hotels/holidays" as if nothing was.

Looks like dessie was right after all - no payment was issued for Expedia despite the promise it would be sorted.
    Ky - over to you.

The issue with non payment is becoming worse. 60 days payment terms is a cushy number and there is no excuse why merchants should not be able to abide by that, just as afiliates are expected to abide by their own set of standards. Its Tradedoublers job to ensure the payments are managed in plenty of time for the payment run - there is usually about 6-7 weeks to do this, so whats the excuse? After all we are only talking about the transfer of a payment from one bank account to another, not really difficult is it?

Anyone else notice a distinct lack of posts from anyone from TD since yesterday morning. My monies on it being the office Christmas party yesterday and thats why no one has posted on here or been around to make sure this particular payment went through as it should. Im sure we when everyone has sobered up later today we will be treated to some "vanilla flavoured" excuse. Maybe when someone from TD does finally comment on here they can include in their post what they intend to do to remedy this. Are they going to organise a seperate payment or is everyone going to have to wait until end of January to get paid for sales delivered in October?

Sean its not often when I am right that I wish I wasn't, this is one of them.

Affiliates are generally small businesses where cash flow can make a big difference I for one although only missing a few hundred, it will make a big difference on what I will be doing and buying over the next week or so.

Then we get no response to either these threads or mails sent to support no doubt a plethora of special promotions will flood this forum over the next 25 hours to push us out of the way.

We will just lap it up as we always do because we want to make sure we get paid eventually.

    Merry Xmas All

Well technically dessie was only 50% correct in that their prediction that there would be no payment followed by a "one size fits all" apology - whereas what has actually has happened is no payment (despite promises to the contrary) followed by no apology of any kind - must have been some party!

I would have thought/hoped that someone from Tradedoubler would have revisited this thread by now to provide an update/apology/explanation as to why no payment was made, despite the assurance there would be no problem. Currently the invoice is still showing as unpaid, even now 2 weeks later. Also the invoice for Nov is now also showing as overdue.

Can someone from Tradedoubler provide an update on when both of these are going to be paid as there are now only 8 working days left until the next payment run and it seems like we now have to start chasing invoices up before hand in order to try and make sure they get paid.
