Jackpot Joy Get Together

I feel that spending the whole day in london today and bringing along 2 members of staff was extremely beneficial.
We learnt a lot of general information about the gaming industry and also a lot about Jackpot Joy. We will definately start making a lot more money with Jackpot Joy now and I would highly recommend that if they host another event that a lot more people should go!
The day was very well organised with a number of different speakers with a really nice lunch (great chicken wings!) and free beer throughout the day.
And to end the day they gave everyone that attended a bottle of (very expensive!!) champagne.

Anyone that hasn't already taken a look at their white label software really should!

Anyway, just like to say Thank You to jackpot joy for a great day!

I'd like to echo Carl's thoughts.

A great day - lots learned, and great hospitality. Many thanks to Chris, Noel, and the gang.

It's a shame there wasn't a better turnout - Considering it was costing JPJ £60 a head, those who had assured JPJ they were attending but did not for whatever reason (you know who you are!) have really let everyone down, but most of all yourselves, as you have missed out on a fantastic day's education, which will reap the rewards in the months and years to come.

It was good to meet some new faces (looking forward to Noddy joining the forum soon!), and the usual suspects too.

Was at the New Connaught Rooms, Bloomsbury today (Friday).

Can't believe you missed it - There's been a banner at the top of the forum for the last two weeks, 2 posts in the TD forum and an e-mail sent to all JPJ affiliates about it! Even our one banned forum member made it onto the guest list (although he was a no-show)

Was a really good event - hopefully more merchants will follow suit

Yeah I really wanted to go to this but something came up (a couple of weeks ago so Chris knew I wasnt coming) so I couldnt make it. Sounds like it was as good as I thought it would be.

I'm sorry I couldn't make it. Having to balance family and business is never easy - I did let Chris know. I just knew you'd all learn loads and it really does feel like an excellent opportunity missed.
Still I can't do everything and if there's a next time I'll try to get along.

Hi, someone did ask for a copy of the presentation and Chris said yes, so I'm sure if you ask him for a copy he'll send you one.
It was very well structured and we did learn a lot from it.

Agreed, was a useful and professionally-run event. Thanks for making is such a wonderful day Chris and everyone else from JJ!

I learnt a lot about an industry I'm not too au fait with and it was a pleasure to meet all my affiliate pals.

I was looking forward to it but was only a provisional and couldn't confirm, I know I've missed out, the income from JJ builds each month and that's without pushing it hard. I've applied for the white label and hope to get all my passers through to join in the fun. I'd be interested in getting a hold of the intro and an insight into anything else covered.

This pc has just died and JJ monies are more than helping me get back on my feet. Thanks Chris!

Thanks to JPJ for the day, presentations, useful discussion, food, champagne, alcohol, etc etc etc.

As said above, it was a real shame a few more affiliates didn't make the effort to get to the meeting though as I'm sure more could have been gained by affiliates and also by JPJ, who really are receptive to feedback. These events are for everyone's benefit and if they're not attended affiliates can't expect merchants to be pro-active for you.

Anyways, for those that missed it, JPJ did presentations about themselves, talked about what games work/don't work for different audiences, talked about their games, demonstrated how the bingo game runs, talked about the white label system and told us what's in the pipeline with regards to developments at JJ.

There were discussions and questions about the games (e.g. I was surprised to learn UK folks do prefer the US style slot games - but these guys know their stuff), content units (e.g. how to promote the lower progressive jackpots vs million dollar progressive tickers) etc etc. plus the usual chance for networking with JPJ and other attendees.

I would have loved to have gone but unfortunately family committments mean I can't go to lots of things - which tbh is incredibly frustrating.
I know reading a pack about the day won't be the same - but I hope it will help.

I know there have been an increasing number of events across all the networks and I do feel I'm missing out by not being able to attend and I hope in future I will be able to go to more but at the moment I can't.

Thanks for your kind words and encouraging feedback from the workshop.

We would especially like to thank those of you who attended as I think we probably learned as much as you did from it.

Next time, we will start later (probably lunch time onwards) and try harder to make it worth your while attending.

We recognise that it isn't easy for everyone to make it and appreciate that a lot of you have other commitments. So we don't blame anybody who put their name down and couldn't get there on the day.

We hope that for those of you who did make it, you can take something from it and apply it to help both our businesses.
