I just tried to place an order via the SonyStyle website.

It failed twice despite opening account, checking credit card details etc.

Made complaint through website contact form. Got an email reply asking ME to ring THEM despite them insisting on a contact number when you open account.

Tried to phone them, the number they gave was main switchboard, tried all usual options to get hold of a human.
At end of many button presses was given another 0870 number to call - stuff that.

Decided to see process through so replied to email telling them they had my phone number (when account opended) so phone me.

Half hour later got phone call from "Out of Area" which usually means overseas, spoke to women with American accent.

She said "funny we've had several reports similar to your today" but I have nothing to do with website.

She offered to waive carriage charges.
I explained I was affiliate marketeer and that if I couldn't place an order neither could anyone else and to please share my unhappiness with anyone who will listen and politely (sorta) declined their offer. Of course because she has nothing to do with website that's very unlikely.

Naturally if I had gone ahead with order no commission would have been logged, similar to stories we've heard from other retailers hereabouts recently.

I haven't had a sale with SonyStyle previously and I'm not optimistic I ever will after that experience.

It's a links down scenario but before I do has anyone had good performance from this program?
